The Services You Need All In One Place
See our programs designed to help keep your pet in your home, or as a last resort, surrender your pet for re-homing.
Community pet food bank
If you need help feeding your pet due to financial hardship, we’re here to provide temporary assistance. Our Community Food Bank program is available to provide essential supplies for cats and dogs.
Surrendering a pet
We understand that it is sometimes necessary to surrender a pet. Nate’s Honor Animal Rescue only accepts cats, kittens, dogs, and puppies. We are not able to care for exotic pets, livestock, reptiles, or wild animals.
Since we are committed to keeping animals as long as it takes to find them a loving home, we can only accept new animals if space is available. We accept owner-surrendered pets by appointment only, and a surrender request form must be submitted in advance.
Have you lost or found a pet?
1
Post your lost or found pet to 941 LOST PETS, a local group that will help notify people in your area about the pet.
2
If your pet has a microchip, report your lost pet to the microchip company.
3
Check your local shelters, in-person and online at Manatee County Animal Services or Sarasota County Animal Services.
