Nate’s Honor Animal Rescue Center is proud to announce a generous donation of $98,373.23 from the Talk of the Town Restaurant Group Foundation, raised through the organization’s Round Up for Charity program during May and June of this year.

Guests dining at Talk of the Town Restaurants, including Charley’s Steak House, FishBones, Texas Cattle Company, and Vito’s Chop House, were invited to round up their checks to the nearest dollar to support Nate’s Honor Animal Rescue Center. Thanks to the incredible generosity of guests, the Foundation, and corporate sponsors, Tito’s Handmade Vodka, BMW of Sarasota, and Lamborghini Sarasota, every penny collected went directly to the rescue, helping provide lifesaving care, shelter, and adoption opportunities for homeless cats and dogs.

The funds will directly support Nate’s shelter operations and animal care needs, while also contributing to the final stretch of the organization’s $16 million Journey Home campus expansion, expected to be completed later this year. Once finished, the expansion will double dog housing capacity, add a state-of-the-art kitty city, a public veterinary clinic, new adoption and intake centers, and an education and training hub for the community.

The Talk of the Town Restaurant Group Foundation was established with a unique model: the Woodsby family, founders of Talk of the Town, cover all administrative expenses, ensuring 100% of donations collected go directly to the chosen charity. Since its inception, the Foundation has raised more than $3 million for local organizations.

“We are so grateful to Talk of the Town Restaurant Group Foundation and every guest who chose to round up their bill,” said Dari Oglesby, Executive Director at Nate’s. “This incredible gift allows us to continue our mission of saving lives, expanding our programs, and ensuring every animal who comes to us has the chance to find their forever home.”
